Fall Weekend Camps TBD

 Monday-Friday, 9-4.
Morning ride starts around 9am. Break for lunch.
Afternoon starts around 2.

We start with arena work, and add obstacles, trail riding, flag and cow work,
maybe some roping......It is a progression, and everyone works at their own level.
We end the week with a "show" to put everything we've learned to task.

Bring your own food, or we have a couple delis nearby. We have a food prep area, frig, microwave, grill.
Overnight campers are welcome. Tents or trailers.
We also have many hotels in the Concord area.
Bring horse feed. We'll lightly bed each stall to start.
After camp, hang out around the fire ring and visit. Bring a beverage of choice
and maybe something to munch on.

New this year, we'll be offering our "bunk house. $10 night.
Nothing fancy, it will be "campy" Bring a sleeping bag or bedding. We plan on
picking up some cots.

$400 per week (no stall) $500 per week (with stall)
$100 deposit to hold a spot. Limited number of riders

Here's What One Participent Had To Say:

"This was my first horseman camp and I could not be more
pleased with the results in both my horse and myself. It was a great
learning experience that was both fun and challenging. Joanne understands
horses and knows what each one needs to improve. She is patient and thorough
in her training, never forcing horse and rider to do something they are not
ready to do. This camp is a must for all levels of riders and horses."

Youth Farm Camp 2012

The mornings will begin with caring for a variety of farm animals, such as horses, cows, chickens and pigs.  Chores will include feeding, watering and cleaning.  Campers will learn about farm animal behavior and handling.  In addition, students will explore the 100 acre farm from a nature perspective - the streams, ponds, pastures and woodlands are home to a amazing variety of plants and animals.  We will also have an organic garden that the campers will be able to help harvest and sample fresh produce.    Bring snacks, lunch and drinks.  Horseback riding lessons will be available during camp week at a special rate (this fee is in addition to the camp rate).  Please contact the farm for more details and to sign up!

Contact Concord Rec for information regarding these camps
